Attorney Ted Starr
Attorney Ted Starr attended college at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. He also studied at the University of Leeds in England and attended law school at Boston University in Boston, Massachusetts.
He has been a member of the Florida Bar in good standing since November 1988. He is also a member of the St. Petersburg Bar Association and the Clearwater Bar Association.
Mr. Starr has been in practice for over 30 years; has trial experience in Pinellas, Hillsborough and Pasco Counties; and has also represented individuals in Federal Bankruptcy Court.
He is currently a Board Member of the Community Law Program in St. Petersburg and was a Pro Bono Lapel Pin Recipient for 5 consecutive years, has been highly rated by his peers for the last 3 years through the Distinguished Award of Martindale Hubbell and the firm holds last year’s Chief Justice Law Firm Commendation Pro Bono Service Award from The Supreme Court of Florida.

Attorney Rod Martelo originally joined the team at Starr Law Offices as a Paralegal while attending law school. Now as a licensed Attorney, Rod assists the Probate Department, ensuring that estate matters are handled with precision and care.

Attorney Rod Martelo is fluent in Spanish, and a certified Notary Public, which allows him to offer valuable legal services to a diverse clientele, enhancing the firm’s capability in providing comprehensive legal support to clients of all walks of life.
